Vintage Rare Wade Alphabet And Number Train Complete Set With Damage to Engine. Unusual and rare set of alphabet and number carriages. Numbers run on the top with the alphabet on both sides. The engine is often broken, a bit of a design flaw and production of this set only ran for 6 months 1958/59, possibly for this reason. The engine on this set was broken and has been repaired, although the guard is still missing a head.

Quite cute and supposed to be educational when it was produced, before people considered children choking on small parts. All of my vintage items may show marks, imperfections and wear and tear consummate with their age. I point out obvious damage in the description and photos.
